About 2 hours from you is the Pinehurst Lake/Elenor Lake area, there's plenty of great camping and quadding in the area. There's also the Fawcett Lake area east of Slave Lake where there's hundreds of miles of quadding. Long Lake also comes to mind although I've never personally quadded there.

Long Island Lake, about 2 hrs Northwest kinda. The campground is on the lake and is close to amazing riding, I loved it there.

You could try Hope lake or Champ lake by Boyle there is nice trails in that area.

Hope lake has a really nice ATV friendly campground (from what i remember) Chump lake also has "off the beatin path" spots to camp with awesome sand trails that go every which direction through the bush. I grew up in that area.

Any updates on this list? At wilderness village its says they have a atv staging area so does that mean if you have a toyhauler you would have to haul them to the staging area and cant ride from site?

Yes, you unload your quads at the staging area and they stay there... no riding quads in the summer to your sites.. if that was allowed in the summer there would be 300 quads running back and forth... no peace in the camp ground.. not that i care.. but thats the rules.. we have about 250 quads that are stored up at the staging compound... if you want, you get a site really close the the staging place up chapel way in the campground..

in the winter, for winter camping, then your allowed to ride right from your site.. cause there is only certain areas open for camping.. we are allowed to put our trailer on a site for all winter from thanksgiving weekend till may 1..but not in the summer.. i have had a membership there since 95...

we don't ride much in the summer from the staging compound cause in the summer there is way to much muskegg to go throw.. after 10 years of going 5 feet and winching type of thing, we now trailer out of the park toward nordegg. lots of riding along the hyw 11.. the futher you go west the better the riding is...

but in the winter the riding from the camp is priceless...

i definately recommend chump/north buck lake. the trails give you access to multiple lakes you can camp for free out in the bush and the lakes are relatively clean. i was there all last week and had a blast i put on almost 160k in 3 days.
