Looking at buying a PJ trailer any complaints?

Crappy wiring job, no prep done before paint. I have owned 3 over time. I still have my little 5x10 or whatever it is. No brakes on it and it works well to pull behind my quad as well as haul it, and garbage to the dump. Paint is almost completely gone on it now. Wiring is still working at this point but if you actually used it any amount I wouldn't trust it. I am going to tear mine down and have the whole thing sandblated and linexed. Structurally it's okay and I have not had any hub or suspension issues. The other 2 I had were an 18' car hauler and 20' highboy. Neither hardly went anywhere and I sold them with low miles of use.... But both had paint falling off like mad..... Typical cheap trailer....

I've had my PJ 7714 single axle for 5 years now and the only complaint I have is the paint job could be better.As far as the wiring goes they could not have done a better job it's all clipped to the frame out of site no way can it catch on something or get hit by rocks. I put electric brakes on mine that was easy and changed the lights to LED. Mine was built in Mexico and is as heavy duty as they get.Check them out and good luck with your purchase.

They have been good to me. Paint is always ch!t on trailers no matter what you get.

Pj is all I will buy. Superior wiring, good axle selection, and fir decking is far better than others.

My PJ Dumper is the best trailer I have ever owned. Not one issue BUT like everyone has said ...my paint is pretty crappy !! Every spring/summer, a couple cans of rust paint and the trailer is some-what better !!! Axles have been great, wiring has been good, just the wires to brakes have broke..but that can happen on most other trailers !!
Would buy another PJ trailer, for sure !!

I just bought the same trailer in an 18' this spring. Rear ramp is easy to put up and down. I like the couplers they use, no messing with adjusters etc. The removable ramps on the side do make some noise as you drive, they are not pinned in. Other than that, no complaints.
