I call BS on the hitch #1 you are not going to mount it with a sheet of plywood under the hitch. #2 hitch to far forward #3 you wouldn't be able to pull the release handle far enough without hitting the box to open the jaws, or probably get the right leverage to pull on it reaching over the sideMy guess is it was going in for a rebuild

LOL it's my daughters boyfriends truck,he just removed it from his semi to transfer it over to his new to him truck,needed the scales mounted under the hitch for work. Found it funny that he was running around all week-end with it.
