my bad misread.....i retract my statement.....but where are you buying an f150 lariat for 50K better shop around, you should be able to get it for about 38.....thats what a guy i work with got his 2011 for

That's with the 12,000 off for employee pricing. the lariat my dad is looking at is 56,000 reduced to 44,000

If your going to tow with your 1/2 ton, make sure you have a suitable hitch.
I call BS on the hitch #1 you are not going to mount it with a sheet of plywood under the hitch. #2 hitch to far forward #3 you wouldn't be able to pull the release handle far enough without hitting the box to open the jaws, or probably get the right leverage to pull on it reaching over the sideMy guess is it was going in for a rebuild

You mean a half ton isn't actually pulling semi trailers? Haha

We all knew he wasn't actually using it. The hitch probably take 1/2 the trucks payload alone. The thing isn't even bolted down.
