Moose my uncle and I blackpowdered at the Camp Wainright hunt yesterday morning. Measured 50.5" wide, not huge but the biggest one taken there this year. I would guess a dressed weight of 500ish#. a nice partner to the cow I arrowed in October.
I am priority 5 so we should be back for a cow next year to hopefully round out 10 consecutive years of moose in the freezer.

How does that work if when you trap a cougar when going for coyote? do you need a special licience for cougars or just your trapping licience?

Have to turn over to fur and feathers as I think your not allowed to trap cougar. No fines or anything but can't keep the animal. Same as if you shoot a bear or cougar as a landowner. Don't need a licence but you don't get to keep the animals
I could be wrong though. Not 100% sure on it
