I would like to see a pic of the old Brule train station 20 yrs ago before it was engulfed with sand, and you could still climb up to the second for for a looksy

WOW!!! I never knew about the left side of the train station? That was gone when I started riding ther in the late 80's.

In the first picture the sleds went across the water on top of the ice. In the second picture, the sled went across the water below the ice.....



I would like to see a nice pickerel/walleye laying on the ice/snow.

This is very cool, been there many times! I never thought anyone would dig up a pic.

Awesome, I miss the Kootenays so much.... I'll see if I can find a frying pan walleye cooking lol! I used to catch walleye below the Waneta Dam site when I was a kid. I'll never forget the Dorsal Fin grab I did, then the Puffy swollen hand I had from the poison.
