So no the last ride of the season the kids overheated there sled. It did start after but i would back fire lots and wouldn't stay running. I have very limited experience with engine work but figured this would be a good/cheap chance to learn.( turns out not so cheap lol) Found out that Phantom sleds are using cf moto 246cc quad engine so during my google searches i come across a 265cc bore kit for only $100 more then stock parts no brainer right! I am considering turboing my sled and while board one night i thought i wonder if you could turbo a small engine like say a 250cc well turns out you can and the came company that makes the turbo makes a small engine efi kit. So i just put in the order yesterday lol. of course to make it a mountain sled i am going to need to do something with the track haven't figured that one out yet.

Dose anyone know were i can get a 10" wide track say 121" long? I was thinking of cutting down a regular track but i don't think there will be enough meat between the edge and the window.

pic's to come it might be a while before i can show some progress it will be a summer long project.

F7 and stuff had a 13" wide track but not sure about how wide the rails were.

Those were standard width. We had to cut a few 15 wides for a buddy's 03 that kept stabbing tracks back in the day

What about finding a track from a dead utility sled that had a 20"wide track. Didn't those have wider trail spacing. Driver down the center? Just tossing an idea out.

I have installed the big bor kit and efi kit. I am working the bugs out of the efi once it figured out i will put the turbo on. The long track part will have to wait.
