PCP Air guns

Not sure if there are any people on this forum that are into air guns but was just curious if anyone knew where I could get my hands on an FX Royale 400 in .22? I know Air gun source carries the 500 in .25 but was hoping for .22

I cannot speak for that gun, I have the RWS magnum 22 it sure kills crows easily...so I have been told. I would bet that would work a lot better.

They had to carry hand pumps so it's very possible it was quite similar to a bike pump. The hand pumps nowadays for pcps are actually just bike pumps on steroids and they can pump up to 3000 PSI or more

The air gun depot has a refurbished 22 on for 1349 right now. Not sure what refurbished means.

It means someone returned it because of an issue. Unit was inspected, and found nothing wrong, or fixed issue and put back up for sale. Next person to buy it will also have same issues, and need to return it because unit was originally never fixed properly.

I'm pretty sure they can't import that to Canada anyway because of the Shroud on the barrel. You can only get air guns that have been modified specifically for Canadian firearm laws

So I've narrowed my choice down to these two. One is the air arms s510 ultimate sporter, the thumbhole is the fx Royale 500. Fx is .25 the s510 is .22 which is much quieter. Anyone have any experience with either one? I've done a ton of research on these and I'm leaning towards the fx even though it's .25 because it is regulated and the s510 is not. Both are crazy accurate...

I have a different brand of .22 that shoots 1200fps.
Would not go back to .177.
Just be sure there is a quality trigger, most air gun triggers are junk on the $500ish guns.
Have not found a gunsmith that will work on an air gun trigger yet. Shoot the gun model before you buy!
High power air guns are great fun!!!

Both rifles have two-stage match grade triggers which are fully adjustable down to 8 ounces. Unfortunately I cannot shoot them before I buy because no place around here actually sells them. I have to order them online from airgun Source which is the only place that I can find that sells them in Canada

My 460 rws which I have owned for about 8 years has a rated velocity of 1000 ft per second... on their website..ya right. I would put it at 700-800, equivalent to a BB Cap 22 bullet. But it is pretty accurate and deadly within 200 ft. Not as accurate as a 22, people tend to shake those bellets around and dent them. If you have uniform pellets you could get 1/4 inch group at 50 feet. For some reason it is just a pellet rifle to most people. Let us know how that works for you when you get it.
