Anyone renewed theirs lately? I’m a 11 months away from renewal and wondering when I should get it in?

I just sent mine off 10 days ago and it's due end of August

Apparantly it's quicker if you do it online but I had issue's when I tried so I sent it Canada Post with a tracking number

I had to call on mine and they gave me some help on more info needed (gun range membership). My son was waiting for 7 months.
After I got mine, his showed up about 2 weeks later.

My dad's expires July 26 and he just came to me for help yesterday.

Both the wife & I renewed ours last year. Mine took almost 9 months to get & her’s came in roughly 3 months after sending in the renewal. Even had to call to make sure it was received for processing.

I tried to do dad's online and it told me at one point there was no valid email tied to his number so couldn't proceed. Anyone know how I can put my email on there?
The only thing my dad does online is the last half of his laundry.

I submitted my renewal online late last summer, and received notification that my picture wasn’t good enough just before Christmas. I went and had a passport photo taken, and submitted before the end of the year.
I received mine in the mail in April…!
Whatever the government system is, it’s brutal slow…

Start calling them in August, asking for updates. Sometimes they need a call to be reminded that they have a job to.do.

My kid did his online this winter and it was approved in a month.

I applied by mail and it took 9 months , I called to see what was going on and their system hung up on me. Can’t expect anything more when they have to be legislated to show up to work three days a week , otherwise home in their jammies whining about how hard it is , so stressful

If you can sign in online into your account you should be at least see if they have recieved it yet, if not I would give them a ring and ask.

Wait times have been all over the damn place with my friend groups, some as short as 6 weeks, some as long as 9 months, the females do seem to get theirs back sooner it seems.

I would imagine the GCKey website and go through the verification process.

Submitted mine this morning. Wonder how long it will take to get mine.

I think I got mine in 5-6 weeks or so
