overboost

I have a 2006 apex, sidemount bd 2871. My issue is too much boost, if i cruise at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle i have 15lbs...full throttle is over 20... wastegate is operating. Is there just too much flow for the wastegate?

what kind of boost controller,more than likely the ball & spring has rusted & its stuck open or spring is broke.

Probably this ^^^ also check boost gauge, could be out of reference.

it the wastegate reference line cracked and not opening the wastegate......too much boost only occurs when engine parts spit out lol

Hook up a air line to your waste gate actuator with a pressure gauge , dial the air pressure up and see were your waste gate opens!

Haha I just took the whole boost control system off and wired the gate shut!
