over rev when descending

2013 xm I get an over rev indication when descending if I pick up the rpm enough to engage the belt. Happens consistently. Anyone else experience this? Big pain to take it to a dealer with only very limited days to ride due to work. ok to ride?

Mine does it to not all the time tho. I'd say it's good to ride

Mine has done this when the snow is rock hard coming down a steep hill. I believe it's because the ECM sees the rpm being higher then your actual track speed and thinks there's something wrong. Nothing to worry about
