One time after fuelling up i didn't tighten my gas cap on tight enough and my first stuck of the day i rolled the sled and yeaaaah you can imagine what comes next. pretty embarrassing moment.
oh really you got off easy the gas went all over me lol.
i also had a buddy that pulled his sled at least 50 times at the end of a long day until i pulled up and showed him his key was not attached.

Going for a night ride and wondering how much gas your sled has in it. Can't see the level in the little sight glass thingy on the side, so pop the cap and use a lighter for light to see if you can see the level in the tank. Then after it bursts into flames, running around like a total retard looking for a fire extinguisher, when all you had to do was close the cap and smother the flames. Still went for a ride after the fact.

When i stop I put my goggles on top of my primary clutch to thaw out. It works really well they never melt just dry out good. TWICE last year I drive away thinking why the hell my sled is making that bad noise! Only to realise that i left my goggles on the clutch. So then i get to ride the rest of the day without them. And not to mention spend more money on a new pair.

While riding down a lake, I was admiring some pretty girls also out on the lake, when they started pointing franticly in the direction I was riding. I turned to look back in the direction I was riding, just in time to see the point of trees that I went straight up into!!!! Embarrassing day, pulling the sled out of a tree. WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING!!!!!

i just remembered a few whoops. my first sled was the old style 03doo and it was on a trailer with another sled taking a corner and the strap broke and it flipped on to the street still dragging by the other straps, finally my buddy stopped and we flipped it upright. i was facing traffic in the middle of a busy road while buddy went to turn around. i got some interesting looks lol. that thing was built like a tank, only scratched the metal brake reservoir.
ok no more trailer, got my self a custom deck with a 6foot ramp and it was time to load up the 03 for the first time. tried a few times but wasn't even coming close so when in doubt pin it and i did. cleared the deck and smashed onto the cab, i leaped off and couldn't get help to push it back because everyone was on the ground laughing like school girls. lets just say we pushed the sleds up until i made it into a 8 foot ramp. only damage was ski marks on the top off the cab and a dent on the side, could have been lot worst.
i will remember another story in bit, stay tuned lol

My riding buddy forgot to clean out his sled at the end of the season and found his hoody in the seat compartment as well as a bunch of old rotten food. hoody got tossed and took a hell of a long time and cleaners to get rid of the smell. almost ended up tossing the seat it stunk so bad.

stopped on a "small" hill to help a friend get unstuck but turned around to watch my sled ghostride down the hill as I forgot to put the break on. Sled cruised down the hill nearly 1/2 km and stopped between two trees no damage once so ever.

-so this one time I put my gloves user my pipe to Dry them out and warm
Them up. I get stuck, rip the sled over and ride some more. Within the next 10 mins I smell this rank burning smell, I immediately think that it is electrical because it smells like that (I toasted my
Voltage regulator+ECU a few trips prior) I open my hood And see my gloves sitting On my Pipe.. Melted! I guess that they got a bit Warmer and drier than I had wanted! Lol
- This one time a vent popped out of my hood and fell on my pipe. Burnt plastic doesn't smell Nice, and it's still stained.
- This one time I opened up a gas station sandwich and proceeded to put it on my pipe to heat it up. Some
Ham an cheese fell stuck to the pipe and burnt/melted. Smelled like burnt cheese and ham all day, by hey! It's a hell of a lot better than the smell of burnt plastic and gloves! Haha

Falling off.. Something we all do.
-this one time we were
Crossing this avalanche path (it had already came down the day before so
No fresh snow on it was safe) it was hard so you couldn't really side hill. Just lean to the left. The turbo in front of
Me flipped his sled on the side, I rolled mine, the throttle stuck as I fell right beside the track, I scrambled to get out of the way of the track which was spinning full throttle, before it came back down. I felt the spinning track brush up Against my leg! Sled ghost rode to the bottom of the hill, it stopped an inch away from a tree, still running after a few roles.
- I have fell off lots while doing that thing where you lean way out and get the one ski up while the other ski shoots snow over your hood. Lol

MOMMA will remember this one. Climbing a big steep hill and slowed down to the point I was gonna get stuck but was juuuuuussst about to a bench so I stepped off my sled and burped it just enough to get it on the bench and on top of the snow (like I have done a million times before). Well I burped it way too hard and it gets away from me, makes a half circle and proceeds down this huge hill by itself. It goes rocketing into some thick old growth timber (minimum 24" bases) and somehow doesnt hit anything. Goes into a ravine about 100' into the trees and noses itself half way into a snow drift. Not a mark on it. Sled would have been a total write-off if it would have hit any one of those trees. It was movin when it went in.

That was a woopsie. :)

Oh man.. Part of me felt so bad.. you started to chase it.. then realized.. holy crap it's going fast.. then you just kind of watched with your head in your hands and then swayed in the direction you wanted your sled to go.. kind of like bowling when you don't want your ball to go in the gutter, so you balance on one foot leaning, secretly thinking that your mind is controlling the direction...... fbomb fbomb fbomb......UNREAL that it never hit anything.. those were HUGE trees!!! That was awesome! I didn't dare venture down there into never never land.... had a nice time suntanning up top with Mike. lol

Ok.. a replay of one of the dumbest things I have EVER done...................There were a few whoopsies in one fell swoop...

K so my husband, Dean and I were up in John Bull...... The day ended typically.. My husband goes to Dean..

"hey I found something for you to hit".. Dean, "you do it".. My husband.. "no you"... Dean... "Ok." Dean hits it and breaks something.... We have to get back to the truck fast so we can run into town and get Dean a part for his sled before it closes...
To get out, we have to go through the trees... and we're going fast.... So needless to say I hit a tree, Fast.. with my head.. Upon my head was my brand new Drift camera....

We get back to the truck... My husband says.. where is your camera? Dun dun daa......... I'm mortified.. He takes his helmet cam off, and gives it to me, then proceeds to zoom back up to see if he can find it.. he locates the tree I nailed with my noodle, but to no avail.. Camera is gone.

When he gets back to the truck, Dean and I loaded up the sleds, he zips his sled into the trailer and we're off....

Once we are home, he asks me where his camera is? I look in the trailer, I look in my gear... turns out I have LOST his camera too... Now if my husband was mad before, he's freakin LIVID now.... bad wife.... I feel so horrible, I can't sleep that night, so I drive back up the summit to our staging area and do a search in my jammies... in the hopes to find the camera... nope....

so that week was pretty tense... came time to go shred again, as I was putting on my jacket, I felt something hard bump me.... ah ha!!!!!!! secret Ninja compartment in my Motorfist Jacket!!!! I found his camera, Husband was happy and I was only a 1/2 bad wife...

Backing up with the scratchers down, forgetting goggles at home and having to wear sunglasses. I've left the truck door open at the staging area, just to have another group come up behind us and let us know they shut the door(little embarrassing) Flying down the trail and smelling coolant, open the hood and the rad cap is gone! Found it laying under the engine.
