You would enjoy it , there is a lot of good natured ribbing , but a whole pile of good like minded people .
Ones who support the forum and the sport ...
We look forward to it every year ...
Just pulled in , pics as they happen ...lol
I do have a Ranger so it would come in handy when everyone else's machines with the "high end, fire proof parts" need a tow home in their government assited machines

Great campsite too.

Wow, these threads get derailed! More bull**** here today than productive posts over 6 months.

Rather have a recall then what went down this year with the skidoo 850. No recalls on that sucker, must have been flawless!

I though this thread was about family sxs.

I have a 4 seat rzr 800. My family and I enjoy our time with it. Anybody can spend money to get the next greatest thing! But is that right for your budget? My close to stock 4 seater goes through all kinds of stuff. I'm stuck less than most of my riding crew on different machines. The 4 seater are longer so cornering is its downfall. It suffers if your attempting to use the easy way out and take the skinny quad tracks around the mud holes. Some times better it's just better to commit and go all in! In my opinion, when going longer with a 4 seater, go with a narrower model. 60". Then you can fit any where a 2 seater 64" unit can go.

My kids are way younger than the original poster. I have five seats right now with a bump seat in the back but as my kids get older I don't think I would need five seats often. My oldest is 7. He would prefer to ride his dirt bike most of the time. My too, so let the wife drive the little ones behind us.

My commander Max has been a great family ride. I have spent a lot on it to improve the performance for when it's not being used as a family ride but I definitely enjoy having the storage as we like to throw the zodiac in the back and head out for a day of riding and fishing in some spots that can't be accessed on normal roads.
All that being said it sounds like the defender might be the way to go at this point from the can am line up if looking for something family/utility oriented. The commander hasn't seen any real upgrades that can am has put into the other SxS units.

I would expect a commander replacement / update soon. It is getting long in the tooth ...
They have the work one ( defender) dialled in and are dominating in the pure sport ( x3 ) .
So I would expect a sport / utility in order to compete with the general.
Should be interesting...

Yeah I've been thinking this for a couple years now but with the other moves they've made with the defender and x3 I get why it was pushed to the back burner. They're still a very capable machine but need a few upgrades to maximize their potential.
