And how many miles is too many. Most seem to be 500-700 miles

I wouldn’t bat an eye at 1000km on an Xr. These things are tough AF. Mine has a lot of gravel rash and cow ch!t on it so it might not fetch top dollar on the used market.

The local guy here that sells them has well over 25 000km on several boards. Yes that’s right 25 thousand!

Wow that’s 1000hours of riding at close to top speed.

Grabbed a bigger one today. Only rode it 10' but it feels waaaay different. Had to convince the wife that the xr was safer and more stable.

Haha we have a 5 month old so it's hard to both go riding as we have no family close by to babysit. Otherwise we would keep it.

I've thought about putting him in one of those baby carrier backpack things but if I ever ate crap, I'd hurt him pretty good.

That XR is so safe the baby back pack is a great idea!

No different than a baby seat on the back of a 10 speed that we all survived through!

killed the battery a couple times this weekend, was a blast to get out!

Took the dog and little guy for a walk last night and the wife wanted to use the xr. I did all the walking haha. Maybe I can convince her that we need to keep the pint and xr

Did 9kms today. Nothing crazy but half of it was off road. Back leg and foot definitely need some time to get back in to shape again haha.

Different. A bit more stable but harder to carve and make tight turns if you need to spin around on the sidewalk. The pint seems to hit harder taking off where the xr is smoother getting up to speed.

That being said, I did a couple kms on big, loose gravel today and I wouldn't try that on the pint on the first ride of the season.
