60 km+ weekend camping. The fangs defiantly get you up hills that you couldn’t climb before. They advertise riding on a beach but with the slick it doesn’t like loose dry sand at all! It did ok on the rocky areas and wet packed sand.

Sweetness! I’ve been doing a little searching for foot pad options recently also. Was thinking of going away from wood, front and back. We ride 60/40 off-road and if it’s a bit wet the grip tape glazes over with build up that doesn’t ware off. Haven’t found too many options for the front yet.

If buying again I would not purchase a wood footpad again. I would go with a plastic option, the wood fit poorly. Likely warped from our dry climate. A belt sander to the bottom of the pad fixed it up. I've read mixed reviews on the front foot pads. Sounds like not many of the aftermarket options are reliable.

oh for sure, I believe you can get the upgraded grip tape to fit all the aftermarket pads they sell too.

Website says you can brush the upgraded grip clean and not lose grip after cleaning. more aggressive than factory. mines smooth at 1100km

You bet. The last couple wet sessions the shat packed hard and then dried.

Soaked a piece of paper towel and paced over dirty grip tape to moisten up for 1/2 hour or so. Then brush,

it brushed off way easier then doing er dry!
