I think the factors need to put air ride in all 3/4 , 1 tons like the big riggs and no more trouble as you load it up it levels it self. I would sure like to find a kit that i could but in

I bought a firestone air bag kit back before they came out with their auto levelling kit. All I did was run a height control valve out of a big rig and throw a compressor under the hood powered through a relay off keyed power so it doesn't kill the battery and no matter what load I have on the truck, it's level and the lights aren't blinding everyone.
My truck is a classic bodystyle Duramax with a 6" lift. Bumper is less than 75cm off the ground. Headlights are aimed. It's really that simple! Stop bitching about it and just fix it. It only takes 5 min outside at night to aim your headlights.

Driving lights in conjunction with high beam is legal. Fog lights can only be used when weather conditions are met, and then instead of headlights. Mystery why they sell illegally wired headlight system, but wonder what dealerships have to say.
Wrong!
Headlights and fog lights can be used together-only in low beam though. Correct on the only in poor weather conditions part though.
Driving lights with high or low beam is legal but only one set and must be no more than 55W.
Million threads on this. Aim your lights and let this thread die-SERIOUSLY!!

Give it a try in Valemont and let me know how it ends. What you say so far is right, but act continues on to say when you can legally operate the lights previously described. You will get a ticket in Vtown, it's the law they use to charge you (4.11.4). They have a hard time convincing a driving light isn't a fog light. Not arguing about you being right just saying that they'll ticket you either way, and leave it up to you to prove different.

Been through the Valemount scales many times, never had a problem with lights, went through an inspection about 3 months ago, vehicle passed. I think there is more to this story or miscommunication.

That is incorrect, fog lights can be used with low beams or wired to be used independent of lowbeams as long as marker lights remain on.

What we need is some one to invent a pair of night time driving , light glasses ! Would work on the same princple as the automatic welding helmet that darkens once the arc is struck .It would have to have some fine tune ajusment on it ! and be able to pick up the annoying bright light comeing at you! I know theres alot of LOLs out there but,i bet you could get a nice grand from the feds .

Personally I love the idea of cracking down on these headlight and driving light issues. Not necessarily fines, but promoting awareness. I am always coming home thurday or friday nights from Vale and run into about 100 trucks a night going out. I can honestly say that about 30% of the trucks have improperly aligned headlights. Especially the 1/2 tons with decks or 4 place trailers. I swear some guys are ignorant of the whole headlight thing. If your rear bumper is dragging, then your headlights are facing the sky. So then they turn on their driving lights to help keep the light down on the road where it is usefull. REALLY HARD ON THE EYES AFTER A FEW DAYS OF RIDING.

Just be LEGAL and you have nothing to worry about.
