ive had factory set lights that i knew were adjusted way to high, i was always getting flashed when i had my low beams until i had to lower them a bit. bought the truck brand new...

Thats a dealer issue, if you got fined for it the dealer should pay.... IMO.... Vehicles HAVE to be INSPECTED and certified before going out on the road, and that includes headlight alignment..... Highly doubt Dealership would miss it but I guess it could Happen

been going to val for 20 years and only had one speeding ticket, things there seem fine, so all that don't want to come to val thats ok because there are enough of us that will suppport that little village and less tracked up areas for me

IM WITH YOU MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never had issues in Vale, even stopped a FRIENDLY Officer to chat about directions to staging areas...
LED and HID lights are sh*t!!!!!! Plain and simple....... Outlaw them in my mind

IMO A guilty conscience will get nailed 99% of the time.... If your worried, more than likely you are going to ATTRACT attention to yourself, rather than AVOIDING it...

There are good techs and there are bad techs that work at dealerships unfortunately. Lol.

Agreed, especially these trucks that get SOLD stock, but get delivered with a levelling kit installed..... Safety was done BEFORE so headlights are not adjusted correctly...

every other type A vehicle with a GVWR of 4500 kilograms or less shall be equipped
with front bumpers that:
(a) are securely mounted to the frame or chassis;
(b) have a vertical surface of at least 100 millimetres; and
(c) extend at least to the width of the original manufacturer’s track width.
(2) On cars, the centre part of the bumper shall be between 380 and 560
millimetres above the ground when the vehicle is unloaded on level ground and
tires are inflated within the range specified by the tire manufacturer.

That says it right there..... If the BOTTOM of your bumper (not the AIR DAM) is higher than 75cm, your ILLEGAL!!

Heres a little more when it comes to IMPORTING VEHICLES FROM THE STATES!!!!!!!!!

AS for IMPORTING VEHICLES from the US that is another story.

If you go Registrar of Imported Vehicles you can search and find that "UNMODIFIED VEHICLES" manufactured for the US market are only admissible if on the list of "admissible vehciles".

A suspension lift is a MODIFIED vehicle and is therefore NOT admissible into Canada. This HAS NOTHING to do with the size of the lift, bumper height laws ,etc. It has everything to do with it being a MODIFIED vehicle.

I think that is fairly close to the laws in BC already, Im not sure on the bumper height restriction, but I do know there is one in place, they just haven't enforced it much the past few years.

your right, it just seems that the pampered drivers from Alberta complain the loudest when they leave their home province and have to obey the laws of the land they are in.

The preferred rig rocket is a one ton single rear wheel, GVW is 5080kg or more, law probably won't do anything.

oh well who cares ! a higher truck doesnt get u any farther ... but those LED lights really suck balls eh !

I'd like to know how a high center of gravity is a good for anything except speeds less than 30km/h when in deep mud or rock crawling. Safety and performance are compromised as well as all the premature wear of suspension & drive line components.
Thats not to mention everyone thinking you have personal issues about being bald, having a small member, being to short, mom didn't love you enough, whatever the situation may be.

Just an observation...imo
