I beat a HEMI the other day. But it was a quad cab not a regular cab. and a 4X4 not a 2wd.

The only vehicle i struggle with in a race is racing against a dodge 2500... idk why but it's stupid... i got 1 2007 gmc sierra 1500 cold ar intake, and tuned...

Mines got a magnaflow 3" cat-back and an AFE intake. It goes good, but I still get passed by some Hemi's.
BTW, I think the '07's might be doing a bit more gear hunting in a race because it's a 4 speed and has a bigger jump in ratios. I got a 6 speed and it accelerates much quicker because theres less of a gap in gears and can stay in the powerband better than some 4 speeds I've been in.

Agreed, not happy about prices. And we pretty much got the same mods on ours. I just got a pipe where as you got a program. I got my truck as a 16th b-day gift as well.

if you tune it, and then detune it before bringing it to the shop you're golden!
