70's elan, I think. Had to put my hand on the carb to start it. Like a choke. Also had a polaris single cylinder. Don't know what year, but it rocked. Well, from what I can remember.

We had a 76 cheetah 500 that I got to ride once and tore the chaincase out of and after that it was the 78 lynx 250 that I rode for 7 years
Same deal dad said when I could start it cold I could ride it. Lol found the can of quick start and kept it in the sled. He couldn't believe it when I came tearing out of the shed when it was -15 and the sled was running. After a couple years and a glove over the carb was all it needed to fire up.

62 Polaris Autoboggan,, repainted it, and rebuilt the 4 stroke motor, used it at many Whitecourt rallys,,had fun with it, I got it from original owner in early 80s, sold it early 2000s to a collector. this picture is same machine,,not the exact one, lost all my pictures in old computor and my albums are packed somewhere in the Bus.

First sled was a 1966 ski-doo rode it quite a bit but dad had his 1975 sno-jet astro ss that really wanted to ride ( but wasn't aloud to until i could start it by myself, for him it was a blessing and a curse, The blessing was I couldn't start it for a couple of years , The curse was I flooded the crap out of it alot trying to start it) But the oldest sled I rode was a 1956 Bozak a friend had.
