Does a chassis fail prematurely from being jumped? Checked out facebook site of one seller and he is into jumping.

The chassis is very simple, easy to tell what kind of shape it's in by looking at it.
rear hanger easy to fix, new bushings is an easy fix. Couple loose rivets easy to fix.

if its bent its bent, that simple.

What about low milage older popo? I gotta get rid of 2 2013 153 track pro rmk. Bought same time 1 has 678km and the other has 213km. The lowest I can take 10,000 each or take over payments. Buddy cant ride cause of broken hip and my shoulder is crapped out. Both are in near mint condition. Pretty much all trail riding no full throttles. They are on kijiji.
13 Pro RMK 155 Track only 213km Come Get Your Sled!! | snowmobiles | Strathcona County | Kijiji

Seeing how I bought my 2014 Pro brand new two years ago for $10400 I would suggest $10000 for sleds even old is just not going to happen.

Guys were having a hard enough time getting $5000-6000 for them last winter.

For me personally when buying a used sled, mileage isn't a huge factor in my buying decision. It's just a matter of the price appropriately reflecting the mileage and condition of the sled. The sled I have now is a 2012 doo with 4200km (havent ridden it yet) and I also had an 08 doo that had 4100km on it when I bought it that I kept for 3 years or so. The 2012 I bought this summer needs some love but overall it appears to be a good machine. But because it needs a little work I was able to buy it for less than what I sold my 08 for a couple of weeks later. So really at the end of the day it just comes down to the price of the sled to reflect its use and condition more than anything else. Also can come down to personal preferences too.

For pricing ideas mods are generally worth half of what you paid and take $2500 off the price you paid for the sled to start.

With rebates on left overs and low interest rates guys would rather buy new.

Yeah there are some new leftovers for around the 12 mark right now as well. But there are always doc fees, tax, etc on that so probably add another 1000 out the door.

Friggin brp.....this is the second time now I have bought a sled and then have them instantly de-value it by 2k a couple of months later by throwing big rebates out.

No one buys sleds with the intention of not losing money.

Maybe list them on Washington or Montana craigslist.

With our crappy dollar it might be appealing enough for someone down there to purchase them. But you are likely competing against even lower prices still.

It is what it is.

One more scenario: 2015 sled, 6 or 7 km's with full wrty until 2019 vs 2013 sled 3 km's no wrty? Same price for both.
