So what's the concensus on the engine? I bought one on Ebay last year. Kinda took a chance but it all worked out. Good engines are getting harder to find these days.

Are you adopting anymore children?? I don't eat much and try to pick up my toys after I am done playing with them.

She should be thrilled - got me pumped about getting some old iron rebuilt for my boys. They won't need them till Christmas 2015 so I have a bit more time than you!

Keep the pics coming!

It's looking closer to new that used now. Only a fellow sledder would know the work you've put into.

Coming along nicely. What years were all the phazer II's and can I ask how what did you do to clean up the engine cylinders and parts so well???

Haggis,
The first one was a 1994 Long track that I took most of the components from but it was rode hard and put away wet..lol and the one that I am building is a 1991 or 2 and basically clean up was just degreaser (Prof Automotive degreaser) brake clean, oh yeah I do have a Parts Dish washer that helps.. air craft stripper on the tunnel and just a little elbow grease. The engine compartment people are still asking me why I painted it.. not!! It is Factory black just CLEANED..:d 9 days till Christmas... Mush Boost Mush...lol

TB - Keep those photos coming. I'm loving this build. No disrespect to all the guys spending the big bucks on a "Build"...but this is the real thing, like bringing an old 69 Ford Mustang back to life.
