What rain?? The rain that came out of the sky yesterday.

There is a good rain crust on it. Some sun and wind would help to pull some moisture out

So it's not the best but it could be worse. The groomer is going up owlhead/blue today and it's needed. The trail is like spring riding water running along the sides. There is no snow almost to the 2km parking lot! Then it is very slushy till about 10km. But it might be better after the groomer. Up top at blue it was foggy but once in the meadows it was great. The snow is like mashed potatoes there is untouched and the snow set up is great for tree riding for sure. But it is wet and heavy. It's going to rain tonight and then sunny for a week. Ladies ride tomorrow here so we will make the best of it!

Was at eagle the last 2 days. Was great yesterday, but it was pissing rain all morning. Even at the very top. Slides all over the places. Not great riding at all. Creeks busted open the trail up in a couple spot. I can't imagine what owls and blue lake must be like since it's lower. Feels like end of April up there. Better get cool and more snow.....

From Lumby/Mabel Lake Snowmobile Club regarding Park/Nelson:

Unfortunately due to the warm temperatures and lack of snowfall (and melting of snow pack) conditions are less than desirable. So unless we get snow, grooming and trail fees will be done for the season.
Squaw still has snow on trail from parking lot however, Taylor is bare up to 13km.
Snow at the Chalet is probably around 4-6ft.

This was from yesterday... Today due to warm temps it was rock hard! Not good we need snow a cold temps up top in a bad way! The owlhead trail is dirt for 2km with some ice due to melting during the day trucks with decks were driving up to the 2.5km parking lot. The trail for a good 10km is like sugar! It's crazy weather to say the least!
