Oilfield services are a dime a dozen. Competition is fierce and hourly rates very drastically. Unless you have connections that will help prosper your business this venture will be a gamble to say the least. I suggest that you price a truck and trailer, insurance to cover all liabilities, and establish your C Cor expense to get a good heads up to what's involved for oilfield. I'm not trying to detour you from anything but there's alot involved with success to your venture.

Yup what he said your will be broke before you start U have to get all your saftey programs together and core one of my saftey programs is $8000 bucks and $2000 year to keep it up plus plus plus so DO your homework before you jump in GOOD LUCK with your venture

That type of business is like bobcat service, every tom @ick and harry bought skid steers and drove the price down that it doesnt pay to move it anymore. So I do specialty work now and most can't compete or could afford to do the jobs. They can all kiss my $%$#, good luck on your venture.

Decided against it. Did some research, and you people are right. Lots of them around. Not sure what I want to do now. Not afraid of hard work, just want something I can make good money doing that does not involve me in a pipeline trench or on a rig floor.

Get an education..... and not all trades result in a lifetime of back breaking labor. If it requires no education and little to no skill to do...... well you can figure out what that nets you generally. Money makes things a heck of a lot easier.... and the more you have the easier it becomes.

Get an education.Trades are always good. If you start a trade early in life you can make good money pretty fast and have a lot more options later on in life.
