“Expect big changes in NHL. Big part will be not having the best hockey players in the world. But more diversity……

“If the NHL is able to diversify its workforce and audience, then it can ensure that the league will survive and thrive," said Mikah Thompson, an associate dean at the University of Missouri-Kansas City law school and an expert on racial diversity issues.

"While pursuing diversity and inclusion is the right thing to do, it is also good for the league's bottom line," Thompson added. "A more diverse NHL workforce, including more diversity among its player ranks, will result in greater interest in the sport. The NHL's fan base will grow once diverse people see themselves represented in the league."

They are trying the same thing in f1. Soon everyone will just get participation awards so nobody is offended that they didn't get the Stanley cup

As Reported earlier.

I believe I will stop supporting professional sports. NFL has taken a nose dive. Now expect NHL will see its own demise. I’ll focus on fixing my sled, fishing, hunting until sanity returns. Maybe a long time. However war is brewing…….

Hello Oiler fans! Seeing if anybody has 2 tickets available for a game in November or December on either a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night I could buy. Me and my older brother would like to get up and see the new stadium and he has never been to an NHL game before. Let me know what you have or if you could put me in contact with someone. Thanks.
