My sled is a 2021 summit expert 850 turbo
400km(guy I bought it from never rode it)

I did the first ride of the season this weekend. On the first day I was riding and I noticed my oil light was on. I turned the sled off and opened the side panel. Oil was still close to full. Restarted and oil light was gone. Next day I was changing my clutch weight because I just installed an Ibackshift kit. I had my hand under the primary to spin the clutch up and had oil on my knuckles. Does anyone know if the oil light and this can be related? Any idea what the issue might be or where to start looking?

Oil tank lid on tight? Over flow when filling?
Check oil tank lines

Cap was on good, never overfilled.
Going to pull the primary and see if I can see where it’s coming from.

The oil pump on my G5 started leaking and the oil pooled under the clutch.

Just a heads up. If you end up changing the oil pump, the ecm has to be calibrated to that specific pump.

Same thing on my G4. Oil Pump started leaking . Not a cheap to replace.
Hate this about modern sleds.. My dad had his leaking a couple years ago, was planning to do himself as hes been wrenching on toys for 60+ years and when he went to get the pump from the brp dealer they basically told him you know without BUDs you wont be able to complete this install and it will still have to come to us for programming.. He ended up sayin F'it and let them do the whole thing, cost close to $1000 when it was all said an done..
