Have you ever been saltwater fishing? Totally different game to the landlocked fishing you are used to. Wait till you tie into a big Salmon or a Steelhead or try to pull a huge Hallibut up from 400' or head over to the Frazier and fight a big Sturgeon. If you go further south there are Marlin, Sailfish, Dolphin, Tuna and nothing on earth even comes close to fighting a truly large fish, not even sledding. I'm almost jealous about where you live now.

for me , uh uh nothing and i mean NOTHING compares to sledding , i mean come on! boondockin in 3 feet of snow with powder covering you and your sled , what could be better then sledding , my undying love for the sport.

well we sold it 3 or 4 times one to a person with to sleds both almost identical with extras and even a parts sled! i want them like crazy but now my dad tells me he wants a boat instead of sled!! grrrrrrrrr.........that really sent me over the edge knowing that i have to go another year without riding!!!!

Well one thing I know for sure is that it'll all work out in the long run, eventually you'll be able to afford the sled you want and the truck to take it to the hills. Time is the great equalizer. Good luck with whatever you guys decide to do.

Hey does this mean you'll have to join a different forum like Wind and Waves? You can tell them about your old Sylvan with the 70 Johnson that did 100mph.:waterskiing::lol2:

way to funny.....
how old are you man? get a job, and buy your own sled.....looks like your old man might be trying to teach you a "life lesson"......maybe your old enough to NOT have him pay for all your fun.

my 12 yr old wanted a new helmet last yr, We were in Can.tire when he asked....I re-directed him from the powersports section to the snow shovel section......he had is helmet in one weekend.

maybe I'm a prick for doing that, but tought him to work for what he wants.............just sayin'

Actually one of my first jobs after I got kicked out of the house when I was 16 was as a mechanic for a small logging outfit in Hinton. I changed all the tires and completly rebuilt the brakes on all three of the trucks they had at the time and these were offroad trucks with planetaries not the highway models. The owner would come out once every couple of hours to make sure I was still alive and not screwing up but he never helped nor did I ask him, I wanted all the hours I could get.
