Curtis. What's with the last line in your signature? No sled this year? If you had a ton of snow I was going to come and play in your backyard this week.

My Hillclimb should be here on Wednesday then a night in the shop for venting and drooling

Ill be on the hill this weekend. I've never hit up the renshaw, so I will out to see you soon as I want to give it a try. Hard to travel and hour when you have 10 spots close to home, but Ill be there

How come your typing on the keyboard instead of flipping the throttle ?

6 of us rode Allen Creek this weekend. The trail up was sketchy at best. 4" of snow from the parking lot and not that great until about km6. At the cabin there is about 4' and a good 2' of fresh everywhere you went. Still some creeks open that you need to be aware of but the best riding we have seen in many many years. Maybe 15 people on the hill both days. No real base yet so you need to be careful for the few rocks and stumps. Trail up needs a week of cold weather and snow before it will get much better but it was well worth the trip. I will have to get pics from my buddy but I will post them when I catch up with him later this week. If you don't mind the trail up you will have a blast if it keeps snowing:)

Allan Creek

Parking lot has good snow cover
Trail is thin but well covered
many small open water bars on the trail up
Steeper sections where starting to ice up

Once up top, up to a meter of snow was found as an average with decent cover. Good fun can be had. The weather was terrible, we made it just to the entrace of superbowl and turned around due to terrible wind and blowing snow.

We do need more snow desperately to start the season full swing, but it was still a great ride.

Riders were staging in the parking area and the entrance to the FSR road on Clemina with thin snow cover.
