Wow, 4-6" of fresh snow on the trail into clemina this morning. Nice trail from the parking area, excellent coverage on the trail to the cabin. Fresh tracks on the way in.
All tracks from Friday were filled in nicely, wind and new snow accumulated to a great day of riding. Landmines still to be found easily but usually seen
We had a great ride in goat ridge, up and over and dipped into danger basin, bu the farther you went, the more rock it got. A trail was made, but covered, into the hillclimb area. Bauers second chance was deep, but again rocky, hillcimb looked like a forest
We still need way more snow for 100% confidence, but it was a great day of riding
we rode on the sunday..tons of snow. no damage. got to see some carnage. still have to be carefull alot of open creeks and the trail is icy in some spots. but we were carving around in 2-4ft all day untracked. made it all the way into superbowl and past.
I will be out tomorrow blocking the new trail into allan creek to develope a base for grooming. If it keeps getting pollished, we will never be able to groom
It will be blocked with Snow Fencing. Please respect this and go up the old way(keep straight) to get to the cabin. It is for the better of everyone and the entire season.
I want to ride Vale this Sat coming up on my way through to Blue River. Looking to join up with someone, it will be myself and a buddy both whom are very experenced mountain riders. PM me if someone has room otherwise we'll head up on our own. Sucks diggin' out sleds in 4ft of POW with only a couple guy's but it wouldn't be the first time. Cheers.:d
Will be sittining in the Hotel in 12 hours enjoying a cold one. Half our crew took of last night there are riding today.
Any new snow since the weekend?
