The pic posted earlier was the best it got folks:realmad: Sunny and above 0 now, but the upper Mountains are coated in white.

The is basically NO lower valley snow to get access, sorry........ On the other hand if the forcast is ever right, we should be getting lots soon

Hey Guys and Gals

:d Yesterday a lot of my hard work from this summer has finally paid off ! We recieved the official go ahead from the Government to complete our new trail from the Clemina parking area to the Keyhole riding area. This will extend riding opportunities even further and it feels great to offer something new to our visitors this season. Remember we in Valemount are always working to provide better experiences for our riders and appreciate you coming back !

Hopefully there will be more to come in the future !

Just wanted to send my thanks to the people working hard for VARDA we all appreciate your efforts in keeping our riding areas open and gaining more access for us sledders.

Thats actually what I have heard as well, a fellow just stopped in who drove from Blue River and said about 3" in the Allan Creek lot and there is a trailer there unloading a couple of sleds

IMO I thinks its still to early, but if I had an old piece of Iron i would be out there in a minute

I hope they post what they find !

12"-18". went as far back as the first big climb. Might me called the super bowl? didn't have any problems with rocks, thought it would be worse. you can see the telltale lumps in the snow. 1 more foot and you won't be able to see them. then the damage starts. good enough start to the season. glad i didn't put on the new skis yet.
