Revelstoke Mountain Resort snow forecast for 1368 m

Looks like freezing levels aren't going to get higher than 1000m. I would think you should be good. The cabin is at ~1600m.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort snow forecast for 1368 m

Looks like freezing levels aren't going to get higher than 1000m. I would think you should be good. The cabin is at ~1600m.

Actually there is a band of above freezing conditions in the alpine due to strong winds mixing warm air aloft with a lower freezing level of 1200-1300 meters. From Avalanche Canada "Strong Southwest winds in the alpine are forecast to push above freezing air into the 2000-2500 metre elevation band, below this the freezing level should be 1300 metres."

You can see this right now on the live temps weather station. All this new snow could set up quick and crust over....
