Official REVY Riding Conditions 2014/15

Pretty straight forward riding on Frisby. Just go easy across the ridge as there is a huge drop/cliff on one side and the other side is now closed due to Caribou closure.
Good tree riding close to the cabin if its socked in.
There will definately be some nice fresh pow up there today.
Ride safe and have fun.

If you aren't familiar with Frisby at least look at the Caribou closure areas online or on the paper map so you can be aware of what areas to avoid when you get to them. Even with the signage I have seen guys in the closure areas and when asked they said they didn't know about it and didn't see the signs.

Pleading ignorance doesn't help any of us when it comes to the closures.

Just an FYI the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club is holding their monthly general meeting tonight January 2 at the Legion, downtown behind Coopers and beside la baguette, 7pm all welcome. We did this after being asked by many out of towners and locals to change since Monday didn't work, so hope if you are in town you will stop by, we have a big club but only a few do most the work so the more hands and ideas the better.

Rode boulder today. 4-6 inches fresh with a good solid base. Pretty tracked out in the main areas but tons of fresh lines to be had if you go search. Thanks for the noon groom for a sweet ride down.

Snow was okay today on Boulder had to look for it though.

Had one of the best days in a while today. Snow was sick. Was over the hood in lots of spots. But for sure needs more to fill lots of tracks.

Over the hood on a downhill turn perhaps but consistently bumper deep? Maybe? in the flats in the trees. Yeah snow everyday should be stellar. They need a good dump to fill in the low places yet.

getting a little more every day. been lots of traffic though. if you have a secret spot you'll find good snow but the main areas have seen alot of sleds.
