Snow was unbelievable past few days. We were at boulder cabin at 745 this morning and made first tracks on the hill. Epic powder. Awesome weather, had a few problems with a couple Polaris' but all in all, one hell of a day!!!

I could talk about how good the riding is in Revy but everyone that was out this weekend already knows that. I don't see any pics from saturday's sunshine and deep powder but I'm sure there will be some posts coming shortly. Sometimes it's not about the places you go or the depth of the snow you rode in or how sunny the weather was but who you ride with. I am fortunate to have a great group of riding buddies that like to ride hard, never stop exploring and are dedicated to the the sport of sledding, with locals and many traveling hundreds on mile to come to Revy what seems to be every weekend. We never have a bad day, just some are better that others. Sorry for no pics but it was one of those day's when you did not want to stop riding.

Had a great day on boulder. Found lots of areas with no tracks and waist deep snow.
Heading out tomorrow to boulder again, just two of us if anyone looking to tag along.

Me and my buddy are headed out tomorrow for our first rides of the year! Pumped beyond belief! Is boulder our best bet to go on our first day of three?

Boulder is very easy to lost in... Keep this in mind. I prefer Frisby myself, but you can't go wrong with either.

Having a GPS and 2-way radio are a must at this time of year. The weather can change quickly and if your not familair with the area it's easy to get lost.

Finally had a chance to get out for a full day on the snowbikes and put them to work in the deep powder. I'ts a whole different animal as they don't have the power of a sled but are a lot faster in the tight trees and you can drag your handle bars on steep side hill slopes that a sled would have no hope of riding. Lots of fun when your dropping steep lines through the trees in total control and turning on a dime with out the fear of slamming into a tree. It won't replace my sled, but just opens up a lot more riding areas.
