I posted this in Lost & Found but figure I'll post this here as well. Was sledding at Sproatt (by Whistler) yesterday and when we got back to trucks I set my backpack/helmet down on a trailer next to my truck. Grabbed helmet and backpack but may have left camera. I'm from the island so if anyone in the area is driving past and wouldn't mind checking that would be awesome. Thanks, would really like to get camera back.

Snow was great up on the icecap on Tuesday! The road needed grooming really badly, but I hear they are supposed to start grooming it today (Jan 22).
It's supposed to warm up like crazy this weekend, freezing level goes up above almost everything.

Anyone been out lately? Last time I was out at Brandywine (jan 24) trail in was getting pretty bare with a bunch of gravel areas. Anywhere else that still has decent access? I have to haul my sled on a trailer, so can't go in too steep roads

Forecast is not looking good for trail access. Should be good up top if you can drive past all the gravel

Drove into Brandywine yesterday to check conditions, parking is at the first switch back at the moment. Not sure what the road is like past that, but it was pretty much clear to that point.

Ok, been gone for a couple of weeks, drove back from Calgary today and it is looking even grimmer than when I a left. Is there anywhere near Whistler that still has reasonably good conditions? Saw quite a sleds trucks on Highway 99 up past Duffey Lake but I think that is mainly for ski access and not much sledding? How about up Hurley or Rutherford?

Even the heli ski guys have shut down. Everything is frozen up top.

you can drive to the 7km mark of brandywine and unload from there... its firm up there, but i am sure that there is fun to be had... and yes, its still 20$ as we are still grooming the small amount of trail we have left...

I have a trail pass, so cost isn't the issue, just whether or not there was any snow to slide on. Guess that or Hutley is what I will be doing on Saturday. At least if BW is groomed I won't be shaking my fillings out.

RGM-Whats the access like to Hope as of lately. Sound like there is still snow on the Hurley to the Hope road. Do you know if anyone has ventured anywhere else out there. Thanks for the info.

Last report from a few days ago was that there was 300-400 meters of gravel down at the hope creek turnoff. Because it has been down to ice the whole month it is probably twice that now. Guys have been going up Face

We went up the Hurley today - took the Face creek turnoff.
The trail up was in pretty rough shape, there was lots of bare ground and ice. There are bridges across all of the creeks.
Once up top the snow wasn't too bad. There was 6-12" of snow, but visibility wasn't great and it was windy up top.

One last dance up the Rutherford yesterday. She is truly finished up that direction now. Glacier was awesome-plenty of face shots. Next year unless your heli-sledding. Ran into a few yesterday...
