October Long Weekend ??

Just curious where people are planning to ride for the Thanksgiving weekend? My bike should be up and running by then so I would like to get it out for a good rip before winter. My friends were thinking of Cadomin..I haven't been there and I am just wondering if this place gets stupid busy on long weekends? Feedback or suggestions is appreciated!

Ahwell, I am bored of Mexico and Carribean destinations...travel to them twice a year and you get sick of em easy...so I'm really not jealous as I'd rather be biking anyway I do have a Florida trip this winter though so i'll get my sunny destination fix when its -30 here. Enjoy your trip though!

I don't think Cadomin will be busy in October, it gets pretty chilly at night there at that time of year.

FYI Grizzly, this thread was posted last year before Thanksgiving in 2009. But I guess it's time to open it back up again!

Where is everyone riding Thanksgiving 2010?

we are still trying to figure out who is doing what. Thanksgiving was going to be in edson so a quick rip anywhere but now i think its in the fort. May sneak somewhere for a day trip though

Yeah I have just recovered from my car accident and am ITCHING to get back on the trails!

So I was hoping to head out to Brule or maybe go to Cadomin area... not to sure.
