Anyone stay at NV mountainview in McBride?

yeh we stayed therew a few years ago. wasn't bad but it's a ten or fifteen minute drive out of town. Not to convenient if you want to partake of the nectares of the gods at the Giggling Grizzly

Thanks everyone for their experiences. We did change our plans but will keep this place under radar.

They have a nice bonfire pit which was great in the evenings!! We had about 30 people at the fire ..... no problems at all.

I think we might have to check it out this season too. Terracanna is nice; but the drive was getting old by day 3. I'll have to talk to the Altitude Addiction president (aka: Snowseeker) and see what he has to say.

Have stayed there a few times when they first opened. A great place for big groups. But like said before, needs too be managed by adults and not the snotty kids. They will even tell you that they don't care about anything. Had many problems there, the kids even double booked our cabin one time, good thing we got there first. The service there is very hit and miss, more miss than anything. Even if it was the last place with a room i wouldn't stay there.
