Yah it would be. But a 6.4 hemi crate motor would be more capable lol! Or a 12v cummins with a big turbo and pump turned up would be really cool!

Well I get it today , but won't have too much time to spend on it for a while ( months )
I like the idea of it being relatively stock... More of a sentimental thing than a hot rod, I guess...
That being said , I have nothing against a huge crate chev BB going into it ...in fact it might be easier..
Parts are getting rare & hard to find for these old girls ..

Leduc Antique Society has an event each year and you can sometimes see these old trucks there.

Yeah , they have an IH truck museum in Rimbey as well...
so I want to go take that in as well...

Lots of drivetrain parts around ...body parts are a lot more challenging....
rust protection was not high on the IH to do list....
Good thing most of the body panels were about 3/16 " thick.....,,
