The names of the one of the have now been released in the media. Tom Hamilton from Ponoka has passed, he has left a wife and 2 children. He was an avid snowmobiler. RIP.

As always a huge thanks to Mcbride Search and Rescue for recovering these gentlemen so they can be laid to rest by their families. You guys do an amazing job and risk your lives to make sure everyone comes home!

I just read the name of the second man. I knew him well, and dealt with him on a very regular basis. So so so sad. He lost a friend last year the same way. I wish to send my utmost heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and staff. I feel sick to my stomach right now. Rest in Peace Curtis. You will be missed by so many! Condolences out to the family and friends of Tom as well.

It is with great sadness that we inform you that Tom Hamilton has been found and is no longer with us. With this the family can now have closure and move on to the long process of healing. Please keep the entire Hamilton family in your prayers throughout this very difficult time. We will post further information throughout the week as it becomes available to us.
