NK isn't that big. About 3 or 4 MOAB's should take care of most of the military and leadership with no nuclear fallout.

Or FOAB's...sweet.... Father of All Bombs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Now your talking! North Korea BARBEQUE.

I think we all understand here that this guy is a nut and sometimes diplomacy just simply wont work (ie Hitler) You can go appeasing all you want and in the end you're just starting on a worse footing than if you would have just stood your ground and not take it anymore... But its different now, you can just go bombing the crap out of a country like they did in those days (fire bombing of Tokyo or Dresden for example) Now its all about minimizing collateral damage.

I think there is a good possibility China is helping/pushing NK. This could turn out to be test of the US's missile defense to see how many missles they are capapable of dealing with at once. If this is the case that is not good...

I can appreciate some comments that we should nuke the place but I am not so sure this is the answer. Just because the local neighbourhood bully keeps causing trouble doesn't mean we should bring a gun in the mix and shoot him. Can you imagine the rift that will cause in the neighbourhood? Simply take him to the back forty and kick the living crap out of him or remove him. If the US can go into a sovereign country and kill Bin Laden undetected I am sure they can do the same in N.Korea. Always remember his people don't have the option to vote him out.......

The USA is broke,,They arent making their dept payments(to china) and China wants land and resourses,,Not trading partners.(They want to own North America..not just sell us cheap ch!t)

Why has china built and continueing to build the largest army in the world? For Peace?

If they want land and resources, they only have to look to the north, not across the Pacific. Russia should be more worried about China than the USA.

Good point. They may not be after USA's land and resourses, they might just want to eliminating thier biggest compition for land and resourses. The USA seems to think they own the world. They are weak now,, China Knows this.

One would think that with the US intellegence (I use that term lightly) they could figure out when and where this fawktard is going to be on a plane and down it, or on a boat and sink it, or on the chitter and introduce a spark...... It took them years to find a couple muslums in a cave yet over a dozen witnesses scheduled to testify in the 911 inquiries have silently disapeard in plane crashes, auto accidents, house fires and armed robberies....

I think if they wanted the wizard of pyongyang out of the way it would be easy, but this current "crisis" takes the publics focus off of other more emabarassing internal blunders.

They didn't exactly go undetected. The Pak airforce was on the way when they bugged out, and they had to blow up the chopper they crash landed to protect their technology. The US got away with it diplomatically because Pakistan was guilty as hell in hiding Bin Laden and couldn't really protest much without exposing their guilt.

I kinda covered this before but where is the largest private army in the world? US civilian gun owners. Anyone who invades the US is basically signing a their own death certificate. You think them there 'mericans will just roll over and die without a fight? Every single action movie ever says no. The days of full scale conflict are over, we have countless examples of this, vietnam, afghanistan (for the Russians), An average estimate some military strategists use is it takes 50 men to take one 2 story house and they expect a 50% casualty rate. How many houses in Seattle alone? Heck China themselves proved that gorilla tactics work back in WWII when japan invaded. So now imagine if they were equipped like the US is right now... I agree that China is a volatile superpower trying to flex its muscles but there is no way that anyone would be stupid enough to invade. An average suburb in a US major city has over 300,000 homes. times it by 25 casualties per house then divide by 4 for actual defended homes about 1,875,000 for those who didnt want to do the math. A rough number of course, but keep in mind thats actual soldiers and not the support (ie food, medicine, intel, officers, etc, etc, etc.) So i dont think its far off.

Russians are the scariest white people so i dunno about that one haha. would be an easier target IMO though.

Much easier target. Other than missile strikes, China needs to cross a very large ocean in order to reach the US or Canadian coast. I would hope that the US wouldn't make the same mistakes of Pearl Harbour twice. Yes, Russians are scary people but it would be much easier for China to just make its way across a border (or Mongolia).

Lol the Russian comment was more of a joke than anything. they cant invade Russia because of Winter (proven over and over and over), they can't invade US because of the Ocean inbetween (japan tried it once... they sunk a couple ships, now with modern radar and satellites good luck!). they can't invade South because India is a little fire just waiting to be lit(1.2 billion people you dont hear about... Something tells me in a emergency they could have a lots of troops on the ground if needed). and they can't invade west because of the Himalayas (well and south for that matter as well. Limited routes. narrow road ways. Easy pickings!) So basically China is screwed anyway they go. I'd be concerned if I were mongolia though... mind you Genghis Khan would have something to say about that as well... So where does that leave you if you are China?

yes that is true. What I mean undetected was that they were able to pull the mission off before the Pakistani forces were able to intercept them.

It leaves them becoming a world business superpower.

Nope, Multinational Corporations already claim that one, There is only 500 companies that control the entire world Food Market. The corporations could care less about national lines. Its all about the dollar amount for them (they control the governments if you didnt already notice) That being said, it is precisely why nothing is going to happen in North Korea, Because there is nothing there the corporations want (besides maybe cheap labor sorry if that sounds offensive but its true!). No i dont wear a tinfoil hat but you have to admit wars in the last 20 years have been suspiciously driven... Desert Storm included.

Yea think some obese Americans with a few guns are going to stop a chinese invasion?lol They arent going to send soldiers anyway, they would send rockets,,hense testing out the US's missle defence capabilities. Hopefully they do nothing,, WW3 wouldnt be good for anyone. Besides the US looks like its going to implode on it self anyways... Again I sure hope not..
Wouldnt be good for Canada.

Bingo except that is only showing the name brand companies. There are many more, not on that chart, that they control even before that part of the manufacturing process, ie raw materials, processed materials, and wholesale goods sold to those companies. Ford for example is invested in many raw materials related to their vehicles. A food example would be Sysco.

To be calling them all obese would be a great over estimation here are a few graphics expressing this (various sources)

Gun ownership: Is that a small arm in your pocket? | The Economist Another Link

The point is this: Its not just a "few obese americans", It way way more. Sure you can launch a few rockets (never nukes though because then you're starting a war with everyone else, don't believe me? Its actually in UN policy.)

They would actually have to send a ground army to accomplish anything, and even if they sent their entire army (which would be incredibly foolish because they'd be undefended then) they would still be outnumbered over 50 to 1. And we're not even talking active military. Then you have to take a look at India and Russia, and look at their estimated army size and tell me that may not be part of the reason China is massing troops.

Source for that List of countries by number of military and paramilitary personnel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In short you invade the US, you signed your own death warrant.

Heck look what the taliban did to Russia and they arent even close to armed like the Americans are currently.

Edit: On another note Look at the estimate for North Korea! Very interesting for sure.
