history repeats ...

I hear alota uninformed people saying war is imminent,
didnt the fear mongers say that about the cold war.
60 years later ... ???
how long has north K been playing this game?
is this chess or poker?
I'm guessing poker with north K all in ...

but just like some poker hands,
this might just play out alot longer than some think ...

isn't Russian and alley with China not being an azz just wondering how this all works?

While technically yes they are allies, they dont exactly love each other. It is my personal belief that if Russia were forced to choose a side between china and america, they would side with america. Reason being, from Russia's perspective its a lot easier to have an ally (who could eventually become an enemy) on the opposite side of the world, than right beside you. That and Russia and China have been fighting over land for years and i dont think that will ever change. Sure they share "red" technology but china also pirated a lot of that off the russians as well so....

Not only that but logistically if there was a war and Russia would be fighting on three fronts, something that Hitler proved you can't do for very long (the europe side, baltic sea side and the chinese/korean side). Mind you it would finally give those Germans a chance to take Moscow haha So when it comes down to it. Its either a one front battle or three fronts, Which one would be more manageable?

not being racist but I also think Russians would side with US simply because of skin colour (those making decisions in Moscow - not eastern Russia).

wonder why BC wont let the dirty oil threw ??? some bible thumper told me it says in bable that the "Yellow" will take over the world ??? i assume it would be kinda hard to take over the world with no oil ??? 0.o

They are letting it through. The indians just had to get their cut first. They are clearing and building as we speak. Its just not published.

Everyone cuts their own deal and the indians are cutting theirs.

I guess Japanese got over those 2 A-bombes we dropped on their heads. North Korea says they are shipping one over there too.

what do the Japanese have to do with this?

Japan worried about North Korea nukes
Published: April 8, 2013 9:14 PM
By ERIC TALMADGE. The Associated Press
TOKYO -- It's easy to write off North Korea's threats to strike the United States with a nuclear-tipped missile as bluster: It has never demonstrated the capability to deploy a missile that could reach the Pacific island of Guam, let alone the mainland United States.
But what about Japan? Though it remains a highly unlikely scenario, Japanese officials have long feared that if North Korea ever decides to play its nuclear card it has not only the means but several potential motives for launching an attack on Tokyo or major U.S. military installations on Japan's main island. And while a conventional missile attack is far more likely, Tokyo is taking North Korea's nuclear rhetoric seriously.
Yesterday, amid reports North Korea is preparing a missile launch or another nuclear test, Japanese officials said they have stepped up measures to ensure the nation's safety. Japanese media reported over the weekend that the defense minister has put destroyers with missile interception systems on alert to shoot down any missile or missile debris that appears to be headed for Japanese territory.
"We are doing all we can to protect the safety of our nation," said chief cabinet spokesman Yoshihide Suga, though he and defense officials refused to confirm the reports about the naval alert. They said they do not want to "show their cards" to North Korea.
North Korea, meanwhile, issued a new threat against Japan. "We once again warn Japan against blindly toeing the U.S. policy," said an editorial Monday in the Rodong Sinmun, the ruling party's official newspaper. "It will have to pay a dear price for its imprudent behavior."
"The threat level has jumped" since the February nuclear test, said Narushige Michishita, a former Defense Ministry official.
Unlike North Korea's uncompleted ICBM program, its arsenal of about 300 deployed Rodong missiles has been flight-tested and is thought to have a range of about 800 miles.

This has been an interesting read with only a few minor speedbumps along the way with idiotic posts from s&m's rodent, oneyewilly.

In my opinion, this is gonna get out of hand. Probably sooner rather then later. In my opinion, and I know this may come off as harsh or just stupid to others that are more politically involved then I am, but I think the US has the ability to put a stop to this. From what I've been reading, northkorea doesn't have as many allies as the US, and lack the ability to even make a dent in US soil. If I was in charge of US' actions, I'd get on the horn with that little sawed off fawktard and say listen, back down, no more mr peace keeping pussy footing around we mean business. If they so much as look at the US the wrong way we would descend upon that little ch!t stain country with the full weight of the American nuclear department. Then I'd say go get a real hair cut and hang up. Then call up Vladimir vladmirinozsomethingorother in Russia and tell em straight up, we got no beef with you, or your buddy china, even tho they haven't made decent Christmas gifts in years. Tell your idiot neighbour North Korea to back off or we will launch the one and only missile and aim it right up Kim's a$$. As if the US can withstand financially another decade+ long war. Ask the brave souls that have been fighting overseas for the last 12 years, I'm sure they don't want any part of that ch!t again and ya can't blame em.

But that's definitely not how it's gonna play out lol..

This always cracks me up!

Lol Putin, is the name you were going for Vladimir Putin is his name. I dont think firing a nuclear armed device at NK is going to do wonders in America's already "fantastic" foreign opinion (what i really mean to say is most other countries already dont like the US and firing a nuke, killing who knows how many unarmed, uninvolved civilians is the LAST option on the table. Interesting perspective though, very grassroots!

Well to be honest, I don't pay much attention to stuff like this, probably should start to tho lol. I didn't even know buddy's first name was Vladimir that was just a wild guess haha.
What I meant was the US should either back down and play the b1tch card and stay out of any confrontations that'll only drive them in the financial hole even further, or flex its muscles and play the we have more toys then you card and force them to fold. More then likely this is gonna get dragged on back and forth for some time, probably not too long in some people's perspectives, threats are gonna increase, hostility will be at an all time high and were gonna fall into another world war. The last thing I would want to do is to have to make US foot prints on Korean soil again, I think the US and its people have suffered enough loss lately with that method, even in victory. In my opinion the only way to resolve this and still remain a global super power, and wash away all the doubts that some countries may have in the capabilities of the us army, is to start pushing back. Send em a pic of Hiroshima, see if the stupid little prick can figure out he's messing with the wrong country lol

I like your zeal but the question needs to be asked. How would South Korea and all the US servicemen stationed there feel about a radioactive cloud floating down on them. Korea is not that big a place.
