Personally, I think it would be hilarious if the gov. tried to impliment that. Can you imagine what kind of enforcement nightmare that would be ?? They better hire a few thousand more officers and give them a crash training course. I can't imagine being one of two officers told to go send a very large group of campers packing. On the stupidly slim chance it's true, law enforcement people are in for a very busy, no-sleep weekend.

It's definitely not true. Although there are some restrictions it looks like. Just check out this website



Find your favorite riding area and check on the map for "no camping"areas. All of the FLUZ state that "Random Camping" is allowed. Some just have restrictions like campsites must be 100m away from lakeshores or must be more than 1km away from roadways.

I imagine the rumour was started to keep some of the riff raff away from these areas. Hopefully its working. :d
