Hi all. Well, at 46 years old, I finally bought my first quad 3 weeks ago, a used 2006 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O.. Up until yesterday, it has just sat in my garage, and every once in a while, I would start it up just for something to do.
Well, finally yesterday my brother and I went out quading (he has the same machine). Thanks to this site, I was able to find a place about an hour away, and we had a BLAST! We went to Redwater, after hearing some folks here talk about it. The directions I found from someone's post were spot on. It too bad that it is already September, and the cold weather is just around the corner. Hopefully it will stay warm for a while yet to get some more use out of this thing. I'm looking forward to getting out as much as possible. It may be hard to sneak out for several hours without the wife noticing, but it's worth a try.
