Does an 800 fit into an m1000 chassis? Only reason I'm asking is I ha e a lead o. A dead 1000 chassis and a good 800 motor.

Yes the motors are interchangable.You would need to get a ecu for the motor you are going to go with and if you are putting a 800 in a 1000 chassis the wiring harness is a bit different.The 800 has a knock sensor that the 1000 doesnt have.

should fit with no problems. you will need the 800 motor mounts
