There is a t2.5 offered it's called a X! It still blows my mind what people will bitch about. It's only a can and no paint. If they would of painted the rails guys would of bitched cause they where painted but not the colour you wanted.

Lmao you seriously didn't just post this, wow take the blinders off folks. Better check the specs on what the differance of the regular x and the t package is.

3" 174 not a selling point...............................................................................................................................................................LOLOLLOL

Maybe to you is a selling point.

To me, a 3" in 163 or 174 doesn't make up for the sleds chassis and suspension shortcomings. The XM still reacts slower to rider input, dives more rather than keeping the ski flat, still washes out and when washed out won't move forward, unlike a Pro which can still move forward.

Give me a Pro chassis with a proven reliable motor and I would be head over heals. I know Poo's 800 is a gamble but it's a gamble I will take with a 3 year factory warranty.

Personally I would ride a 163 T3 but it would get swapped to a 2.5" so it would spin easier when required and have more room for snow evacuation due to the drop. That would be a great setup.

I realize that there is more differences then just the 3" track but I also think that if you only want a 2.5" track then you would be happy with a x. I was more getting at the cry babies that wine about everything. Skidoo or any manufacturer has to try to make everyone happy and that's a hard job, so when they don't make you happy don't come on to the internet and post about how you don't like the unpainted rails and stuff. They have to try make everyone happy just not you.

When I say you I don't mean just you, I don't want you to think my rant is directed at you.

Doo already pulled a bit of a fast one by baiting and switching from light muffler to heavy. For the guys that have their T3, did Doo do the same with the ski wideners? Remember they were touting the new ski that was skinny in the front for packed snow conditions and a ski widener that slips on for deep snow. Did you T3 come with the widener?

T3 and Pines in Prince Albert.

I understand what you getting at now and did not take your comment as a direct one at me anyway.

But to answer your question Truthfully. No, is my answer I wouldn't, because I have a 13 x in my garage right now that is no different than the 15 maybe other than the rf key. So why bother upgrading?.

Claiming that the 174 with the 3" is lighter than a 163 2.5" during snow check was a wicked way in promoting the new "T"package and a huge step in the right direction for doo in trying to upgrade the x model' into a better sled.
Now that the production models are arriving with the older heavier exhaust, bigger front cooler than the prototype, and still claiming that the weight is the same as advertised leads me to believe they lied about the weight in the first place, or they are lying now about the weight now.

So for me the lighter weight and different handling package was the selling point, not the 3" track.

If you already have a 13 xm yah that I can see not wanting a 15 that's not a t3. But the front cooler is still the same as the prototype on the t3 isn't it? I thought only the can was changed.

No I looked it's not like the half cooler like the prototype had. Looks bigger.
But it does look differant than the one that's on my 13.

The big tunnel cooler is still the half cooler.

The only changes on the T3's were the can and the porting in the track. They cut the ports down to 2 from 4.

Is the cooler 1/2 or just moved back on the 174 to help with cooling?

Crop is in the bin, buddy's '15 XMX is in, time for the snow.

I also noticed while looking over the '15 that the rear axle now has a bolt directly through it with a nylock nut.

Shouldn't have any issues now.
