It had something to do with it ya.. I was looking forward to having a lightweight can & a sled that still ran as good as one with a stock suitcase because they DON'T with lightweight cans
I respect your opinion but honestly you are the first Skidoo guy I've heard that thinks its a big deal. Now the brand bashers are really torqued up about it I might add. The manufacturers reserve the right to change specs at time of production. Its not great but unfortunately how it goes sometimes.

I'm with Adren-junkie on the can topic, I didn't order this year, but I'm disappointed on the choice of going with the heavier can. I thought finally!! I can save 350 bucks, have a can lighter from the factory than I'm used to and not listen to a loud sled.
Polaris can get a lightweight can on their sled from the factory.
If I had ordered I'd have been pissed the 3" was not the selling point for me.

The 3 inch was the selling point this year Cape. Thus the name T3. The new muffler was lighter but no way as light as what the aftermarket is offering in weight loss. To the majority its not a big deal.

I too would have been somewhat pissed with brp if I test road a t3, put money down and find out the what I liked different from my 14 to make it worth getting a t3.... Only to find out at close to pick up time, half the stuff is now the same as what I have.... Well now the extra is not worth it

Maybe the brake cover didn't get paint because they would look shabby after a year or two of boots wearing at it?

Doo already pulled a bit of a fast one by baiting and switching from light muffler to heavy. For the guys that have their T3, did Doo do the same with the ski wideners? Remember they were touting the new ski that was skinny in the front for packed snow conditions and a ski widener that slips on for deep snow. Did you T3 come with the widener?
The yellow one that pines has on the showroom floor has them one. They look kind of out of place to be honest. I'll grab a picture on my way by today.

And I'm sure the minority is happy they have you in their camp Lenny. Lol.

My head isn't as wide as yours, I don't really need a camp, I speak for myself and my own observations. Like for instance goofy flag waving brand zealots who are to rigid in their thinking to give any credit to advancements or efforts to do so by any sled builder other than the one they choose. They say the loudest yippers and supporters of things are secretly the most insecure, You gotta be winning or a close second.
A suggestion for you to maybe help....... Call

1-800-scaredtochange, They have counsellors on standby .

Wasn't that many years ago that we all had bare aluminum tunnels also. Don't really care about the blonde chain case, brake cover and rails. Not a deal-breaker.

3" 174 not a selling point...............................................................................................................................................................LOLOLLOL

No it wasn't! The t3 package as a whole less the track interested me a lot more because I was thinking of putting a 2.5" 174 on it. Not everyone can ride every weekend and get the deep pow days that the 3" will shine in.

I've done a 3" 162 and can count on 1 hand the times I had a advantage over a 2.5" equipped sled.

Sorry bud, There is a lot more in the t3 package than the 3". You Probably don't remember but I did mention along time ago it would of been nice if a T2.5 was offered.

kind funny tunnels have gone full circle, in the mid 90’s they came out with painted tunnels (never rails though.. I don't think) then they started coming naked again to save weight, now painted again. I'm not sure if less snow sticks to the rails when they're painted but they do look better. Although it will be nice not having to be so careful that you don't chip the paint with your shovel when digging out. But I guess with a 3" you won't get stuck, so that wouldn't be a problem:rolleyes:

There is a t2.5 offered it's called a X! It still blows my mind what people will bitch about. It's only a can and no paint. If they would of painted the rails guys would of bitched cause they where painted but not the colour you wanted.
