Option 1 $19 900 for 2010 MTX 153, dealer installed MPI stage 1 supercharger with prologger.

Option 2 Get the same MPI setup, a CE track and timberled skid and chuck it on my 08 MTX.

What would you do?

where you going to do your riding?

If your boosting..... not much sense in buying new, save your money for other goodies, lots of low milers around in mint condition. 8g for a 08 mtx is pretty much par. then the charger kit is 5 G ish..... set of apex rails. will slap in place of the 153 rails if your going 162. and track is 800.00 for a CE in a 162. J.M.O.

We have a 2008 40th anny mtx, will also do the build for you.

I think I agree with you.
I'm going to crunch a few more numbers and I be contacting you for a Supercharger; if thats what you carry.

Oh, and I usually hang out at Valemount.

That's not a hard one to decide on. The 2010 is now selling for 12,500.00 with discounts, 180 MCX turbo and clutching is 4500.00 with gauges and extras and that ride of the 2010 is far ahead of the previous years and has a couple grand of shock upgrades as well. Better stance, better handling, lighter skid, lighter chassis, new front end geometry, better attack angle of the track, longer track, better composition of the track, and better tunnel.

Add the labor and goodies together on an older sled and you'll likely surpass the 17K costs of a turbo'd 2010 162" out the door. Crunch the numbers and you'll see.

It's a no brainer to me, 2010 all the way!

Yep get the 2010 162 and put the low boost 180 MCX kit on and you will be amazed. I would stay away from the supercharger personally. Lots of guys have issues with them, the MCX 180 Kit is impressive to say the least.

The 2010 Nytro is a really nice sled and the suspension works really nice at 180HP.

I need to know where they are going for 12500.
They're not that low here....yet.
I should head to Alberta for my next sled anyway.

I think High river was selling them for 11999 plus PDI and tax. Walt Healy was 12200 couple weeks ago.

O.k thanks
way cheaper than here by about 3500.
By the way, Whitecourt Yamaha still in business? Was just watching Swamp Loggers on Discovery and laughed while they were struggling in -11 temps. Got me thinking about when I hauled logs in Whitecourt at -35!

Most dealers in AB will do $13,000 plus GST out the door. I was phoning around looking for one a couple of weeks agao. If you already have an 08 personally I'd mod that one up, there is starting to be lots used parts around for Nytros.

That is all nice and fine:nono:, but your 08 is worth nothing on the used market so might as well build it up and get some value out of it by using it.
