We pay everytime for smokers through our taxes who decided to suck in cigarette smoke their whole lifes now that's stupid, or anyone who wants a sex change, so if someone falls off a quad I'll pay for that too, hell I fund people who don't work who are fine
Not exactly.

Just like road taxes included in gas pricing to pay for road maintenence there is a tobacco tax on tobacco products to cover tobacco related illnesses. If you want to smoke or drive you pay a tax.

There is no tax on seat belts or helmets so failure to wear either and getting injured comes directly out of everyone's pocket. But there are FINES if you get caught. So the risk of being penalized financially creates incentives to maybe just do up the belt and tighten up the strap. Your choice in the end. I would rather y'all just wear your helmets and belts and quit bitching. Use common sense.

I hope nobody gets a ticket loading atv or just crossing camp.Hopefully the fish cops are cool about it...there's a difference between riding and putting across camp.I don't know anyone that doesn't wear one "riding" but you don't need one to go to the beach at the lake so FU law lovers.
I've seen almost as many rollovers and oopsies from people loading and unloading their machines as I have on the trails. Personally I'd recommend wearing it to load/unload.

would be more effective to just limit speeds on trails, way fewer injuries, limit engine sizes and tire diameters.

don't you agree?
No.
Now you need radar traps with certified operators, check points that would be time consuming to check all that stuff. It would not be cost effective and counter productive even imo. I'm not staring at my speedo to see how fast I'm going, I'm watching the trail and riding to conditions. Distractions like trying to see through a mud covered gauge display cuz I'm worried about a ticket could be more hazardous.

When I ride my Camel named Clyde across the great desert wide we have our helmets on 24/7, "not because it's a law,,, but for multi task reasons."

Our helmets come in handy as we use them too pick Berrys, scope water with them to drink from, and transformation them into gas cans if one of us runs out of fuel, Ha.

Sometimes we flip them up side down to Trap air in them when swimming the big desert rivers when it rains.

Another benefit of the helmit is night time as Clyde and I use them as bong-goes at the camp fire as we sing old first Nations songs of long ago, then we put them on at night since they "kinda" act like a pillow incase the water Buffalo step on our heads at night when we're sleeping.

The helmit is good sun protection, coping block, parts tray, salid-bowl, sun-dial, oil catch can, beer jug or coffee cup in my case, and a camp fire collection tray too razes funds for next days gas costs, Ha.

So the best part about the helmit is just having one incase we need it for many things along the way.

Clyde the Camel and I pack them when the system says yes, and they are good weapons if we encounter a wild Grizzly Bear or mad Kow Moose, LOL, "no furry critter wants to tangle with a sling shot helmit rock Chucker. Ha.

Funny thing is we don't see Grizzly Bears and Kow Moose in the Great Desert. Oh-well,,, at least we're prepared of just in-case.

Some might think I'm pessimistic or optimistic, but Camel Clyde knows me as Realistic in the moment as it changes from minute to hour then day as I plan 3 days late at everything I do.

This works good as it allows the noodle to absorb at a slow pace. LOL.

Look not what the helmit can do for us as what we can do with the helmit.

this may be the lamest BS i have ever heard. but whatever fill your boots.

i would strongly suggest if you can not read the speedo, you are riding way over the conditions you are facing on the trail. slowing down would enable you to see the hazards on the trails and have plenty of time to avoid them! you sir are what laws are for! reduced speeds equal reduced injuries, less wild life harasement, less trail damage, and less need for emergency people.

we have found that with reduced speeds . there has been way less machine breakage, less trail damage, less drinking, more time to enjoy life in general, way friendlier people in the group and on the trails.

Yeah , I hope I get over it ....
Have you thought about a gear reduction kit for the ranger & 24 inch tires ?

Even if you pin it , you might not hit 16 mph...
Second thought , not all people need a helmet ....
Some it's just not worth the cost ...
Benefit vrs cost ?

Yes, life throws things at us that point at change, some say yha and others nay.

Life goes on as normal no matter what ideas become laws Any-who.

My little watermelon bucket takes up nill for room, cost nothing to by, and is there incase I stir up a battle with Kow Moose, Ha.

If you see a Moose with helmit on, you know he won the battle.

All small potatoes as we wait for the next law coming down the pipe of who knows what.

Do what each of us so, live life full.

Now that I have my CSA approved watermelon, I can drive much faster now since my pumpkin is fully protected.

Medical pot with help too as it makes me think I'm going fast in 1st gear, wow, Ha.

Now if I can just find out if this duck-tape as a chin strap has a CSA approval for race track gas Lem. LOL.

I hope that I'm one of those 50% that have too be told since I need funding for slow brain thinking when I'm lost out west.

Don't really need the funds, but it would make me happy looking at the pretty colours and the chinkel chinkel sound of coins making sounds in my pockets. LOL.

Did I mention that I have a watermelon helmet that's CSA approved !!!

:wtf1: :dunno:
