Sun Peaks does not have problems with sledders if you stay below alpine while the ski season is going. They can get alot of snow in there meadows.Have you ever ran into the Cat skiing outfit at Sun Peaks in the backcountry,he's a real chit head.I usually only ride Sun Peaks 1st ride of the year just to make sure everything is workin properly, and then when they shut down the ski hill and you can ride everywhere, just not into the village they frown on that.I ride there every year till May 20 or later. Most of my time is 1 or 2 hours north of the loops. You got to make the trip to Blue River or just past Allen Creek,Clemina ,Chappel, unreal endless terrain.Blue river has a lot to offer to you just got to know were to go,we usually make 2 to 3 trips there a year.Where is that pow pic from pocupine? looks a little deep for there.
The picture is from a forest service road near Crowfoot, we got fogged out on top so we took a tour around the bottom, it was awesome! Some of the nicest powder ever!! I have seen that much at the Porcupine, but not last year, it wasn't a good season for that spot. This picture is from the Porcupine several years ago, that kid looks like the kid from Malcolm in the middle, Dewey, the little brother, and this kid is just as much trouble!

Should be good by then, you don't need a guide at Crowfoot, just follow the markers and play along the way, soon it will be all familiar, go over to Grizzly , climb some hills, play around on some cool snow formations, I was out 33 times last season, most of them were at Crowfoot and Grizzly, I had a ball!! If this year is half as good as last year I'll be happy!:d

Yeah I think it was April, that was a fun day! I got a 153" track, and a Motocom Helmet camera, my wife got it for me for Christmas. I am stoked to make a bunch more movies! My buds like it, they are always in the dam things and I'm not!:d

No I didn't get out, a buddy phoned last night saying he is going to Crowfoot today, he thinks there is about 2 feet there, but it looks pretty foggy today, I will try for next weekend. Who's ULAR? LOL!I'm surprised no one is sledding Raft yet, I was up there about 3 weeks ago and it looked like there was a fair bit of snow on the top already.
