what's your experience with the new boots out there my old
ones are done they leak to much been to the store 4 or 5 times can't decide need rider input. I like the feel of the new alpha boots there light and flexible. but the toe cap seems soft like it would be chewed up in no time??? and maybe not as much support. the stompers seem comfy and flexible but bulky. yet very durable toe. as for the ski doo boots there seem good all around but I never put them to the test?

Have not tried the ski-doo or klim boots, however I bought a pair of stomper 2.0's and I have been happy with them so far this season, grip is great on my pro boards, heavy duty rubber will not get torn up by the sharp grips on my boards either. Feet were warm and dry all weekend long, dried out in half an hour over the hotel heater. Would buy again for sure. A selling feature for me was the support they provided as I had knee surgery early summer so the more sure footing I am while riding this year the better. Stompers definitely help this.

Wondering if anyone has tried these for sledding? Not happy with my stompers at all and had no luck with Klim boots either. Tired of paying the high price for boots and thinking I might try something else as I could buy a couple pairs each year if need be. Thoughts?

I love the stomper 2's and the contessa boots, as that is what I've worn the past few years. They are tough, and waterproof/breathable. Shifted into the Alpha's with the boa system for this season. What I noticed to be the big difference is the weight. The alpha's are extremely light. Almost freaky when I was first getting used to them. I love them. With the alphas the toe cap isn't as tough as on the 2.0's. I'd have to say in comparison I prefer the Alphas. The Boa is slick, no more messing with Laces, easy in, easy out and easy to adjust mid ride. I still use the 2.0's as my every day boot so that is one plus. We wear them hunting, and hanging around, easy to drive a vehicle in and very comfortable to walk in as well as a top notch boot for snowmobiling.

I must have been really lucky, or don't complain about boots much. I'm on my original set of MF Stompers and they still work well for me. Granted I don't get to ride nearly as often as some do, but I wear them shoveling the sidewalks, running the snowblower, etc. and haven't had an issue.

I got alphas this year and only have 2 weekends on them but so far my feet have been 100% dry. They are nice and light and no laces is a great option.Only time will tell how durable they are.

Have the stomper 3.0's and the Alpha's, neither of which I have got to try yet. Both look and feel great though and the 3.0's look a lot better made then the 2.0's

My Stomper 2.0's have been disappointing. Haven't stood up as well as I expected and even after shoe gooing where the stitching has separated they leak big time through the tonques. My feet are wet before noon even in colder weather.

B North I have about an hour left of paperwork phone call work this morning then I'll send you a pm. I'd like to see if we can help resolve your boot issue!

I've had Klim, MF stomper 1 and 2's, now have the FXR boots with the cable system and they are fantastic! Dry, great support, and easy to put on and off.

I have run he Klims and MF2 boots. At th end of the day my feet are usually dryish depending on the day. My klim soles did wear down to nothing on my pro running boards. So far the MF2 are doing well on the XM.

I have a pair of hmk boa and the klim. Feet never get wet. I switched to klim because I found the hmk a little to stiff when off the sled but I do like not having to lace them up. I'm selling the hmk if anyone is interested. Might have worn them 10 times.
