I joined this site to respond to this thread. I am shocked! I know it can happen anytime, and so easily, but never to anyone I know... Neil and I have collaboratively worked on projects since 2001. We have a stalled one at the moment, that might be good to kick back into gear for him to see. I wish him the very best, and will keep an eye on this thread on what I can do next. My thoughts are with his family, and with him for a speedy recovery.
Any updates?
Edit : Just found the other thread. I only met him once briefly and talked to him on the phone a couple times but man, that's a rough deal. Been thinking about it quite a bit, play safe out there.

Very sad news, it can happen all to quickly. This is one of those live life to its fullest moments. Have had the privlage on more than one occasion to use Neils product and have sent many customers his way who came out smiling. As said in a previous post Neil is an innovator and one of the very few left in the art of custom exhaust. Our thoughts, wishes and prayers go out to Neil and his family.

Yes, what a shock! I know Neil thru "Get Torqed" in Edmonton... I have been dealing with Kevin since 2008 and met Neil shortly thereafter.. I run one of his orginal NPP/Turmoil slip-ons on my Renegade..... I know Neil spent a lot of time doing pipes and such for Kevin and was there all the time for the ice races and lately the 1/4 mile racing on Friday nights at Castrol... hope that Neil will pull out of this and come back stronger than before... prayin for ya bud..

Neil is awake and coherent. And as usual sharp and as a pencil. He has a long road to recovery, currently he does have a serious lung infection along with being pretty broken up. His family would like to keep the rest of his medical state at this time private to family members only. When they feel its time more information will be released.
Neil is in a very good hospital with excellent medical services. At this time visitation is only to immediate family.
Dave a personal friend of Neil's has asked that people don't contact him to ask of Neil's medical condition. As he won't release any information. What he will be doing is looking after labelling all the items in Neil's shop and looking after the logistics of distribution. I've
sent the emails and PM's to him already that I have received but if you have any WORK ONLY information that you need to get to him here is his email address.

I am happy to hear that Neil is awake and alert. I was one of the first responders to the crash and helped STARS get him to the hospital. Neil is best hands at the UofA and I hope they can perform miracle to put him back together. Please keep us posted I would like to help out wherever I can. I wish Neil a speed recovery and hope his family stays strong.

There will be a fundraiser / silent auction coming up. Its for Neil and another guy that has had an injury.
It will be in Edmonton.
Cash only. End of the night the proceeds will be split 50/50 to each person.
So far over $10,000 worth of items donated.

I too am in for a donation, the S&M community was so good to us in regards to Taylor that we want to give back where ever we can.
