needing a little help please.

hello, i have booked two cabins at mount 7 lodges for this season but we have never rode there. our group will have people who are very new to sledding, may even have a few first timers. and half the group will be decent riders. what are the best areas to go that will have something for everyone? big bowls, meadows, trees, hills. we will have 4 riding days to venture around the area. thanks for the help and info.

Quarts creek is great for all levels of riding

Go check out Silent pass. It has a little bit of every thing. Easy & Advanced terrain.

As stated above, both Silent and Quartz are good. However I have seen the waterfall at Silent eat newbies.
Quartz is groomed pretty much to the top.

The water fall is super easy,, there will be a trail pounded out already,, I wouldn't worry about that. I bring newbie girl friends in there and they make it.

Yup If you have newbies get Aaron to guide you up at Quartz for the day and they will get the feel for the hills and machines. He is a great guy and you will have fun for sure. If I bring guys out for the day I get them to rent from GSR. He has all the equipment from jackets/helmets/ probes and backpacks and beacons

there is another way around the so called water fall.

That at would be the original way into silent.... Travel past waterfall and work the steps up through the trees. Hell I did that back in the day on a 440fan!

why cant I remember the waterfall? I dont recall any challenges to get into silent I have only been 8 times or so? when we went did we roll thru the tree's or warterfall? either way long trek in but just a great spot I only wish the trail was 20kms instead of 44kms...

LOL So true. the 44km is ok in the morning but late day exits get a little cool

its not even a water fall, just a long straight pull after you come out of the trees. easy when trail is broke.

always heard it called that, went in the summer to have a look(and fish) all it is is big boulders no water....

try getting towed out by a crazy french dude at 80km/hr all the way! covered in roost and no grip heaters. Buddy never even looked back after turning onto spilly fsr. lol
